At the very core of why we produce events is the drive to make art accessible. Providing opportunities for artists to share their gifts while also bringing together a community that can appreciate and celebrate this process is what keeps us motivated to do what we do. At Mush Love, we pride ourselves on the diversity of our exhibitions. Not only do we aim to cover all artistic disciplines, from printmaking and fibre arts to sculpture and paintings, but we also aim to share a comprehensive range of cultural influences, technical backgrounds, and visual perspectives. We feel that this diversity makes our exhibition an inclusive experience our patrons and exhibiting artists can enjoy.

In order to apply, you do not need a finished piece, you simply need an idea and a small portfolio of work. One thing to keep in mind is that the NVRLND gallery is an intimate exhibition space, and our goal is to provide exhibiting opportunities to as many artists as possible. We only accept a few large or oversized pieces. There is also a limit to how many pieces you can showcase depending on their size. Our 2026 artist applications will close on Sunday, May 3rd, at midnight MST.

Once the applications close, our curation team will look through all of the proposed work and evaluate it based on how each artist contributes to the theme of the exhibition, their individual style, technique and diversity. Letters to all artists will be delivered via email on Wednesday, May 14th.

Mush Love is an artist-run & independently funded exhibition. In order to make this show possible, all accepted artists must pay a $35 administrative fee. This fee helps to cover some of the many costs associated with the production of an event of this magnitude, including venue rentals, promotional materials, marketing costs and hanging hardware. This administration fee goes a long way in helping us bring the show to life, and we do our best to deliver a top-notch, quality production that offers artists a professional platform to showcase their creative abilities.
