What can we say? We’re passionate about mushrooms, and we think there may just be a few people out there who share our affection for fungi, the arts, and consciously curated community events!
Welcome to the Mush Love Art Exhibition & Market website. We are so thrilled that you’re here to learn about our very special, mushroom inspired celebration. Mush Love is a dynamic and unique platform that combines an inclusive, group art exhibition with a mini-mushroom-inspired market that showcases some of the most talented local creators, visionaries, educators and cultivators alongside a day of music, creativity and conscious community.

IMPORTANT 2026 EVENT DATES
- April 2, 2026 – Online artist & market applications open.
- May 3, 2026 – Artist & market applications close.
- May 15, 2026 – Artist notifications will be sent out via email.
- May 31, 2026 – Artist fees & marketing materials due.
- June 10, 2026 – Public launch of 2024 artist & event details.
- July 15/16, 2026 – Show hanging / piece drop off ( Times TBD )
- July 17, 2026 – Private Opening Event ( Artists and guests only )
- July 18, 2026 – Gallery open to the public.
- July 19, 2026 – Mush Love Market event: 12 PM to 5 PM
- July 20-26, 2026 – Gallery open to the public.
- July 26 & 27, 2026 – Artwork Pickup ( Details TBA )

This year will mark our 4th year of being able to bring this fabulous fungi festival to life. We’re so incredibly honoured with the local ( and National ) support that we’ve received over the years, including the amazing support from the NVRLND Arts Foundation which has provided the essential backdrop to Mush Love throughout its existence. I’m not sure we could have made this happen without this incredibly versatile Calgary arts space!
For 2026 we will continue to grow and flush out some of the expansion from last year. We will be running our market event with the extended setup from last year as it allowed us the privilege to host so many more incredible makers and creators. We will also be keeping the exhibition open to the public from Saturday July 18th till the end of day on Sunday, July 26th. Our coveted private, gallery opening will take place on Friday, July 17th so if you want to get invited, be sure to be on our newsletter list! We will also be bringing back our Psychedelic Sound Session and a few additional workshop and special treats. Stay tuned as we have so mush to share with all of you!

THE LOCATION
Nvrlnd Arts: Boutique
Mush Love takes place in Ramsay / Inglewood at The NVRLND Arts Foundation, a grassroots project for artists and the arts community. NVRLND’s mission is simple but ambitious: empower artists to build sustainable careers while challenging the traditional system of art. We couldn’t think of a better place to host our unique, creative endeavour!
The gallery portion of the event takes place in the “Boutique”, a colourful building on the corner of the block that boasts a sleek, modern 1200 sq. ft. footprint and a gorgeous, custom ceiling treatment unlike any other Calgary space. This gallery may seem small, however, the transformation it undergoes for Mush Love is simply spectacular.
Sunday’s market portion of the event has expanded to both the West & East side spaces of the main building. This expansion more than doubles our market footprint, allowing us to host twice as many talented artisans and provide some much-needed chill-out spaces for visiting guest. The best part yet, Bryan Faubert’s stunning YYC/LRT project, will sit as the backdrop to our entertainment and fungal festivities!
