What can we say? We’re passionate about mushrooms, and we think there may just be a few people out there who share our affection for fungi, the arts, and consciously curated community events!
We’re back & even more passionate about community, the arts, and yes... mushrooms!
Mush Love is back for our 4th annual event focused on bringing people together to celebrate the fabulous world of fungi and the magic of mushroom culture! This artist-run initiative is a creative platform that combines an inclusive, group art exhibition with a mushroom-inspired market featuring local creators, artisans, musicians, performers, growers and educators.
Now more than ever, these opportunities to gather, share ideas & authentically express ourselves are essential to the human experience! We hope you’ll join us for another incredible year!

Mush Love Market Event ( Free Event )
Join us for a mush lovin’ day of fabulous, family friendly fun in the sun! The Mush Love exhibit will be open all day, alongside our expanded outdoor mushroom-inspired market featuring some talented local artis and and creators. There will also be food trucks, live musical guests, special performances, costume prizes and so much more mushie magic through out the day!
FRIDAY, JULY 24th
Psychedelic Sound Sessions ( Ticketed Event )
An experimental exploration of sound utilizing the electrical impulses of living mushroom specimens alongside live musical facilitators. Two Friday night sessions with limited spots available.

Artist-Run Workshops
- CERAMIC MUSHROOM PALS
with Sha ( 2 pm to 4 pm – Registration Required)
Design and use hand-building techniques to create your very own pair of ceramic mini mushroom pals! - PLANT WAVE MUSHROOM MUSIC
with Jai Benteau ( 12 pm to 5pm – Free )
Stop by the gallery and play / listen to different audio frequencies created by living mushrooms.

THE LOCATION
Nvrlnd Arts: Boutique
Mush Love takes place in Ramsay / Inglewood at The NVRLND Arts Foundation, a grassroots project for artists and the arts community. NVRLND’s mission is simple but ambitious: empower artists to build sustainable careers while challenging the traditional system of art. We couldn’t think of a better place to host our unique, creative endeavour!
The gallery portion of the event takes place in the “Boutique”, a colourful building on the corner of the block that boasts a sleek, modern 1200 sq. ft. footprint and a gorgeous, custom ceiling treatment unlike any other Calgary space. This gallery may seem small, however, the transformation it undergoes for Mush Love is simply spectacular.
Sunday’s market portion of the event has expanded to both the West & East side spaces of the main building. This expansion more than doubles our market footprint, allowing us to host twice as many talented artisans and provide some much-needed chill-out spaces for visiting guest. The best part yet, Bryan Faubert’s stunning YYC/LRT project, will sit as the backdrop to our entertainment and fungal festivities!
